I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 that I recently upgraded to Lollipop.
Is anyone having issues with the Car Mode? When I launch car mode from within my car, it works great but when I arrive at my destination I turn off the car and walk away but car mode never stops on the phone. The phone still works but there is no way for me to exit car mode.
The old version allowed me to hit the Home button and car mode would be dismissed, that doesn't work in this version. The only way for me to get out of car mode is to restart the phone.
I noticed that if I go into car mode without the connection to my car, I can exit car mode. This only happens when I make the connection to my car.
Very strange behavior and I hope it gets fixed soon!
