Why does the screen dim on my phone every time I click and view a photo on Facebook?

Screen dims on my phone everytime I click and view a photo on facebook

No my power save mode is not on. I checked first thing. Also, when I'm watching a video within a few seconds my screen (with the video running) will start to dim like it does when there is no screen activity! Ahhhhhh! This also happens while I am looking at photos on the Internet browsers too. All my settings for display on the phone are normal because I have never messed with them. Please help me!

I just noticed today, that if you touch the picture after it has dimmed it will brighten backup and the description will dissappear.

Same issue on my S6 Edge Plus. In Facebook the images are slightly dimed, until I tap them to get rid of the caption info, then they're fine.

Same issue and I can't stand it. Using a Note 3 but i'm guessing it is more related to the app itself. Really annoying.
