Odd Issue with Google Assistant Calls

I'm having an inexplicable issue with my Ticwatch E where I say, "OK Google, call *name*", and sometimes Google Assistant will take me to a screen and say, "which number?" But the two numbers on screen are identical. They are the number(s?) of the person I want to call, but Google Assistant thinks the same number is two different ones? I checked through my phone contacts and there's only one number listed under the name I said and only one name listed under the number I said, if that makes any sense. Doesn't look like I have any duplicate contacts. My Ticwatch E is running the latest version of Wear OS.

Do you have your contacts on the watch? If you do, there's the duplication. (I don't know why - once the watch syncs with the phone, it should know that it's going to see the same numbers on both.)
