I dial a number it ring and then call ended

I dial a number it ring and then automatically call ended why??

Is it always to the same person or to random people or it just happens randomly?

When the call ended did it send you to voicemail or just hung up on you?

What phone do you have?

What carrier do you have?

If you try to call back, what was the result of that call?
