Android Central Question

I've tried everything I can think off. Restarting, updating, uninstalling and reinstalling, checking app permissions, etc. Still, everytime I open my camera app (through quick launch or clicking the icon ) I hear a constant static sound where there used to be nothing. I cant figure out why the camera is engaging the speaker or why its playing this white noise. FYI I have a Galaxy S7 (not the edge) SM-G930A, Android version 8.0.0

If it's happening in Safe Mode, then I'd guess it's a hardware problem.

What happens if you connect to Bluetooth headphones or a BT speaker? Does the static still come out from the main speaker?

I dont have a bluetooth speaker with me right now but i tried plugging in my headphones and the noise came out of the main speaker. Funny thing though, when I switch to the forward facing camera / selfie mode, the noise goes away.
