Fingerprint sensor not working

[Android Central Question]

I've cleaned the sensor. I tried to reset my print. Keeps saying to clean the sensor. You can't get much more clean. I've turned it off and on. I've searched for updates. I cleared the cache. It just keep saying to clean the sensor.

Sounds like your sensor is busted, should be an easy replacement for a local repair shop.

Have you tried safe mode or factory reset?
