Question Huawei honor 10 lite fingerprint lock not working

I'm unable to apply fingerprint lockscreen or any other pin pattern or password on my honor 10 lite, fingerprint is not faulty as I checked in the sensor test list it passed the fingerprint test, this problem started when I hard reset the device, before that fingerprint was working, when I try to apply a pattern or pin after the 2 steps, it returns back to the same screen its a loop

Unfortunately it's not possible for me now as I have already set up the device like contacts, apps, documents etc can't do it all over again

I was expecting some easy solution or at least something which doesn't require erasing all data again

Unfortunately, you've done pretty much everything that we'd suggest to try to fix this. For something as integral to the system as the screen lock to fail, it would most likely be a problem with the hardware or firmware, and there wouldn't be any easy fix.
