snapchat and music? or camcorder and music?

I'm an s5 user who recently updated my phone to the most recent version. I used to be able to have music playing and use the camcorder to record video with the music playing simultaneously, especially for snapchat. Now when I do it the music still plays however the device doesn't pick the audio, and seems to cancel out any other noise, if using the camcorder alone it picks up outside sound. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you tried emailing the developer? Perhaps this wasn't intended to be a feature? Or was removed for other reasons?
