Green notification light will not go off

AC Question

So yesterday my Nexus 4 fell into the toilet and I was in a hurry so i looked at it and it seemed fine. But last night i was on it and all of a sudden my green notification light came on and it would sometimes start to flicker, I decided to leave it but this morning it was still on so i put it in a bowl of rice for 3 hours but it is still on. What can i do to make it go away?

Leave it in the rice for a good 12 to 24 hours and cross your fingers at this point. You may have waited to long to do the rice trick. :(

The N4 doesn't have a removable back so you can't do a battery pull, leave the back cover off etc. to help drain any moisture.

You should remove the SIM card and tray. IMHO, you need at least 48 hours in the rice. Even better if you can get some silica sand. Submerge the device. It should be surrounded by rice (or silica), not just lying on it or covered as it sits against the bottom of the container.
