AC Question

I just activated my new Moto X and while it connects to my home wifi most apps that need internet don't work, get error cannot connect to proxy server, or no connection. Chrome, play store, pandora etc. Netflix works fine. I also noticed the ATT and signal strength and battery level indicators do not turn blue as thay normally do. Also Sync issues. Anyone have a fix. My sisters LG also has the same problem since update to 4.4.2. Also older android phone in house has no issues.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Wi-Fi, and long-press your home network. Then tap Modify Network, tap the checkbox for "Show advanced options," and make sure "Proxy" is set to None. For other tips, see this guide: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...roubleshooting-wi-fi-connection-problems.html

On KItKat, all icons in the notification bar are now white. If you swipe down with two fingers to get the Quick Settings, the color of the wi-fi icon there will let you know if it's connected to the Google servers. White means yes, orange means no.
