How can I remove a paper clip piece stuck in sim my tray?

Hi all,

I was trying to open my HTC one m8 sim card tray, but I didn't have an opener with me. So I used a paper clip to do so, however as I was trying to apply pressure the paper clip snapped and now a piece of the clip is stuck in the hole to open the tray. It seems to be a bit bended so won't come off when shaking the phone.

Then I thought I'd try to push it in further and see what would happen. In the end I pushed in with a little screwdriver and the tray opened it. I managed to do it a few times with no problems, except that there's a piece of paper clip stuck inside. Will that affect it in any way? (eg if the phone gets too hot and it "melts" the clip piece).

If it can be removed, I would. You never know if it makes contact with anything internal. Try and locate a phone repair place. They may have the smaller tools, eyepiece to find the piece of paper clip.
