Why isn't my Data Manager reading the correct amount of Data I have used?

Data Manager wrong reading.

On the data manager app in Settings, it says that I've only used about 67 MB of data, but I just received a text from at&t saying that I've used over 6 gigs. What's going on?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure the Data Usage screen's date parameters correspond to AT&T's billing cycle?

Thanks for the reply. You're right. Turns out the data manager's cycle didn't match the at&t billing cycle so I synced them together. But in the end, I really wasn't using that much data (About 27 MB). My family members were taking up all the data. Mother - 3.9 gigs, Sister - 2.4 gigs. lol
