Factory data reset does not work anymore, why???

I always reset my android with the "factory data reset" and it always worked. Now does not work anymore, why?

Welcome to Android Central! What device? What do you mean it doesn't work? It doesn't go through the process at all? Or does it seem to happen, but then the phone restarts and nothing was wiped?
