Android virgin....size of phones and tethering capability?

Started a new thread, could not find my old one


So after weeks of sleepless nights thinking about my ios I have used for 5-6 years, I have decided to move to Android


Due to price and size I think I like the LG G2


1. Size is an issue, I would like it to fit into my pocket and no I do not wear the super skinny jeans, just regular fit

2. Tethering is the #1 issue with me. I have used my iPhone 5 for 2 years as my ONLY internet for home internet and is is fantastic. High speeds all the time. I am worried that an Android will not compare


Can any "tetherers" out there weigh in
