My Droid Maxx randomly restarted and is now stuck on the Red Eye and has been all night!

I was using my phone when it randomly restarted, which it has done before. But since then, it is on the Red Eye screen, appearing as though its about to turn on, and it has been sitting in that screen all night! I can pop the battery out so I was going to just let the battery drain and hope for the best. Any suggestions?
