How is it that I can access my AOL mail via WiFi but cannot sign in over 3G (Android)?

I can access my AOL mail via WiFi but cannot sign in over 3G (Android)

I got a new THL 5000 on Friday - activated on Straight Talk. I have had a lot of success and love it so far except for the fact that when I tried to setup my AOL email account through the normal Email "app" client native to the device/Android. It sets up okay , and accesses fine, works fine, but I didn't realize that I did this all via my home WiFi connection. When I turn off WiFi and use the 3G/Mobile data connection, I cannot access my AOL account. It says, "Unable to sign on to [my AOL screen name}" then says "User name or Password incorrect - would you like to update settings?" - but rest assured I have not misspelled my name or password.

I have tried completely deleting the account and re-doing it like 3 times but no dice. If I just fire up the WiFi connection it will go through no problem , but not on 3G/Data connection. - HOWEVER, to prove that it's not a total connection problem, I can use the 3G/Data connection regularly like to browse the web or even to use my Gmail account which works fine over the Data connection, it is only the AOL acct: through the Email app. Something is up and I cannot figure out what, some help would be greatly greatly appreciated!!

Try using the AOL email app in the Play Store and see if it pulls the email down.
