power button jamed on samsung galaxy s4 and 20 days till upgrade

read the title. also i have had this before and i would take my battery out and slam the power button on a table and then put the battery back in and it would turn on and now it just flashes galaxy s4 when i do that

HELP???

Welcome to Android Central! It's hard to really say what can be done, since your technique of slamming the power button might have caused more damage.
