tablet will not turn on

My grandson has a Vidao V9TAB8S,he hasn't used it for a while, now he wants to use it and it won't turn on, we have charged it, I know its charged because the red light turned off.

Try long-pressing Power and Vol Up+Down for about a minute.

If it's been sitting around for a very long time, it may also be that the battery is completely dead. If a lithium battery is allowed to discharge completely, it's irreversibly dead.
