What started the process?

I experienced a start of an app that was not initiated by me. The media player started playing music automatically for no reason. I had my phone under desktok lock so i know i did not accidently hit the media player. Is there any way to see a log of the past events happening under the hood of my android? What app initiated the process to start. Was my device accessed by someone else? I would like to see the history of the process events when something like this happens so I can stop this from happening. What app would you guys recommend? Thanks.
