Possible battery or software issues? (Note 4)

So my phone displays that it's 100% charged. However, if I unplug the phone then it will power off and attempt to power back on (displays note 4 screen then screen turns back). I figured removing the battery a few seconds would address the issue but that doesn't help either. Needless to say, the phone says it's fully charge but if I remove it from the charger...same cycle. Any suggestions please?

Sounds like a battery issue and while its plugged in its getting direct power. Do you know anyone else with a Note 4 you can test their battery on your phone?

Yes and I plan to do swap them today. I'll keep updated.
