SD card not showing up in android

[AC Question]

So this weekend, I dropped my phone and the sd card unmounted unexpectedly.
I now can't get it to remount. However it is readable in my pc and have tried formatting it several times.
I have also been able to get an old sd card to mount normally in my phone(moto x play) and my sd card to mount normally in my friends phone, also moto x play.
Just my sd card and phone nothing seems to work. It is as if its not there.
I also just bought a brand new SD card, the same as the original and it doesnt work either

Any ideas?

So an old SD card will mount in your device but a new one will not? Am I understanding that correctly?

Hi yes that is correct, an old 2gb card works fine. The original 32gb did work till i dropped the phone, but still works in my pc and my friends phone, I have also bought a new 32gb card that doesn't work in my phone but is fine in my pc
