How do I press to my option on reboot, and it actually works?

A

AC Question

So, I only have a Galaxy nexus(no, not a s2 or s3 or what so ever, only a Galaxy nexus.) and When I try to reboot it, it gives me options, and I wish to factory reset it/wipe out everything. YET the options are SOO tiny! It talks about clockwork and it is a blank screen and such, but I just want to know, how do I press to my option that I need? When I do tap my option, it doesn't start to progress the phone's reset! Help?

Welcome to Android Central! You're in the Recovery Menu. Did you intend to get there? Normally, when you're operating the phone, just go to Settings>Backup & Reset>Factory Data Reset.

In the Recovery Menu, use the Volume buttons to move the scroll bar, and press Power to select the option.
