Nexus 5 wont turn on or even safeboot, won't show charging sign.

My battery was about 50% and the phone shut off.
It would turn on and then shut off, this happened a few times.
Then it would do the loading animation and shut off.
Now the phone wont start to boot or to safe boot at all.
Help.

How long have you had the Nexus 5? Have you recently downloaded any new apps?

If you've had the phone for an extended amount of time, the battery could be on its way out. I had a Nexus 5 for about a year and a half and I noticed a steady to fast battery drain around the 13-month period.
