Phone recommendations for my son and me?

We are all apple at home and have been since 1980's but when my hubby had an iPhone 4 I hated it. I thought I'd go apple, but...

ME: My first (and current) cell phone is an HTC M7. I like the size and wouldn't want to go (much) bigger. Smaller would be okay but I think the 4" iPhone SE is too small. I need a BETTER camera! I am a scrapbooker and want to give up my digital camera and use my phone. I think I like how google is all-everything on the android (but I wonder what having an phone connectivity to my Mac would be like...)

My Son: 16 yo. Has an HTC 612 Desire which he hates! He complains about storage capability. Too slow.

We are on Verizon (Edge) b/c we live with bad coverage and Verizon has the best for our area!

You can tell we aren't latest and greatest people and price is definitely a concern.

Any ideas????

If the camera is a big concern for your device, I'd recommend looking mainly at Samsung and LG devices. However a price point would be a great help withing supplying you with options.

If you have a HTC M7, have you consider maybe a HTC M8 or M9?
