Is my swappa.com S7 Edge under warranty?

I bought a brand new S7 Edge off of Swappa.com for a great price. It came just as described, clean serial number and all. My question is, is it automatically under Samsung's warranty or do I need to register it? Also, does T-Mobile have some warranty I'm able to get as well or would I have had to bought directly from T-Mobile? Thank you!

Hi, regarding T-Mobile - you would have to have bought this direct from them I would imagine.

Most phones come with 1 years warranty, so if your phone is brand new I would imagine the warranty would start from when you bought it - however is the phone not 2nd hand? is swappa not a site for swapping devices, usually 2nd hand?

Yes, Swappa is a 2nd hand phone site but the one I bought was listed as Retail Resell, so it was literally new in the box whenever I received it. The seller mentioned that in his independent store it was bought by a customer and returned the same day so he posted it online to sell.
