why can't i open my google play store app？

When I try to open my google play store app in my phone,the app immediately quit by itself.Then this message 'Unfortunately,the google play store has stopped.' will pop up.It pop up a few times a day when I use my phone.I tried every solutions/methods from the internet and my friend but its still useless.What should I do?

Wipe app data and log back into the app. That should take care of your problem.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?


As suggested by AlphaTango414, try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.


If that doesn't work, try going to Settings>Accounts-Google, select your Google account, and remove it completely from the phone. Then add it back again, and see if that helps.
