my phone keeps losing signal.

I dont know what else to try. Network type is unknown when the signal goes away as well as the network state always say disconnected please help

Make sure you have the correct apn settings. Who is your carrier? It maybe worth contacting them.

I did but it seems the problem is within the phone. I'm using cm13. Also when I try to search for a network operator I get an error.

My carrier is Digicel

If it worked OK before CM13, there may be issues with the ROM you flashed. It may be worth trying another ROM to see if the issue persists

I've just confirmed that this problem was present even before flashing cm13.

It may be a hardware issue (antenna). I think you need to get the phone checked out.

That is a separate module so there is no connection between wifi and your problem
