My phone is running extremely slow

I have a Sony Xperia M4 AQUA
I was listening to music one day on my phone until everything crashed, I restarted my phone only to realise that it takes around 10 seconds from when I press the power button until the phone opens up, not only that every single app takes a VERY long time to turn on, YouTube doesn't even work anymore, my phone only connects to service so I can call and message people, although it will take a good 5 minutes before i can open my phone, open the messaging app, type 3 words and send it to the person. I would like to know if there is a fix to this sort of problem, every single action like opening the app drawer takes a very long time to load, any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

First, try clearing your app cache in Settings, Storage, Cached Data.
If no go, try clearing the system cache via a Cache Partition wipe in Recovery.
If still no go, get back to us.
