HTC Desire 626 screen won't stay on when plugged in

I reset my HTC Desire 626 to factory settings yesterday. Since then the screen will not stay on when it's plugged in for longer than the selected time out time. Previously, when it was plugged in the screen would dim, but it would stay on. I feel I must be missing a setting but I can't find it anywhere.
