My LG G2 has started draining suddenly from 70% to 10% in a matter of seconds

Twice, my LG G2 would drain suddenly from 70% to 10% in a matter of seconds. Both times I was playing Pokemon. Checking the battery usage, nothing out of the ordinary, but the graph is like a waterfall when it showed the dead drop from 70% to 10% with no slope. This has only happened when I play Pokemon on my cellular data connection, but never on WIFI, so I can't say this is an app issue, although I have not seen this running other apps. All the other usage causes the battery to drain in a normal slope. Any ideas?
