Oculus overheating my battery while im on the Samsung VR

I was told to uninstall the Oculus app. I did that but since i can't use Oculus, what should I use for my Samsung VR headset? My son really wants to use his VR that he got for Christmas.

Contact Oculus (Facebork). They're supposed to have fixed the issue a few months ago. Might be they messed it up again. Sorry, I got no alternatives for you.
