Lock screen and security setting problem.

So I wanted to change my phone pattern lock to a pin lock. I did all of that but now it has no lock. So I went to check the problem but there's a pin lock on the settings. I typed my pin in but it keeps telling me to try again. What do I do?

Welcome to the forums! What kind of phone do you have? Are all of your contacts, photos, etc backed up?

Okay, great! Try rebooting your phone to see if the issue persists. If you've tried everything else and you still can't get in to your Settings to change them, I'd suggest a factory reset. It's a pain, I know, but if you have everything backed up, at least you have that going for you! Let us know how it goes!
