My gigaset will only come on with the charger plunged in & won't go past the screan that says gigaset

it's bootloop:
Start by turning off the tablet.
Then, hold down Volume Up + Power button for a few seconds.
Release held keys when you see the Android Robot.
To enter the Recovery Mode hold down the Power key for a short while.
Good job! You should see the Recovery Mode menu.
