Note 5 Lock Screen Turning Off Immediately after Wake Up

Lock screen won't stay on after waking up to enter fingerprint/manual lock pin. Happens randomly, in clusters, with home button or power button wake up. Started happening immediately after Nougat update.

I did for a few hours and then turned it off. Just happened again, nearly 48 hours later. Should I stay in Safe-Mode indefinitely?

If it's an app, it's an app that is conflicting with Nougat and pinpointing it will potentially take weeks if I'm expected to troubleshoot uninstalling apps and Safe-Moding it.

I can't be the only person experiencing this, and yet the internet says otherwise...
