AC Question

I am looking for a program or app to backup my SD card in my Samsung 7edge to my computer. I have only seen apps that will backup the SD card if my phone is rooted. Samsung's smart switch only backup the internal storage. I want to avoid having to remove the SD card from the phone and then insert it into the computer to back it up. Windows File Explorer requires you copy the entire SD card to back it up.

I have an app called WiFi File Explorer Pro that allows SD card copy over wifi. But, am curious why you just don't hook the phone to your computer via cable and copy files that way. I have done that several times and it works fine once you have the correct USB files installed. They are available from Samsung's website.

I have over 50gb on my SD. I store lots of data because I would in remote places without internet a lot. Also, I use my phone in lieu of my computer when in these remote places even if I have an internet connection since it is a pay-by-mb connection.

I would like an automate app to setup to run weekly and maybe daily (with differential or incremental changes).

I use NovaBACKUP on my computer (laptop). If I remove the SD card from the phone and plug it in the SD reader, then I can include the SD card in my backup schedule.

I am just afraid of the wear-and-tear on the phone's SD slot by ejecting the SD card so often. I don't think it is normal to eject so often.
