Can a straight talk iphone 6 be used on a my family mobile plan?

Was just wondering if you could use a iphone 6 from straight talk on the my family mobile plan. My son uses a iphone 5 from Verizon now. He just wants a 6 now. I can buy a 6 from straight talk for $200. Can I do that and just slip his Sim card in the 6 and call my family mobile.
