How do you get into your phone when you have a password but your Samsung keyboard is not working

So I have a Samsung galaxy express 3 and I have a password on my phone and every time I try to put in my password it says Samsung keyboard has stopped. So I powered it down it didn't work. I reset it and that did not work. I tried harp powering it down that did not work either. So can you please help me. Thank you.
