Android Central Question

I've searched for this all over, and have found nothing that works. Originally I thought just connecting my controller to my phone with a USB cable and an OTG cable would work, but the light on the Xbox controller just continues to flash (which I think means it's not connecting).

Does anyone have any advice on how to get this to work? I'm also willing to try Bluetooth again, but the last time I tried that my phone wouldn't pick up the controller, and I'm 90% sure it's Bluetooth compatible.

It may be Bluetooth compatible, but the phone may not have a Bluetooth profile for a game controller. When you connect it with OTG, the phone doesn't know what to do with it - it's not a keyboard, it's not a mouse, it's not anything the phone "knows".

There may just not be any way of connecting it to an Android phone. (You'd need a driver for it, and that would be at the OS level - Linux.)
