selfies going dark when i try to share them

Hi, I have the Samsung s8 and when I take a selfie, the colour is normal. It's in the gallery normal. As soon as I try to share it or use it as a contact photo, it goes darker and makes the faces look orange. I've even tried to screen shot the normal photo and the same thing happens. Does anyone know how I can stop this? Thank you

Sounds weird. Are you using any effects?

NO, nothing. It shows up right in the gallery. I checked and it's photos that have saved in my gallery from my what's app too. So they arnt even taken with my phone. But they send much darker. Not sure if it has anything to do with resolution. I'm clueless
