a friend of my has a broken smartphone, so I decided to revive my old samsung galaxy young and give it to her. I've had trouble since the start, because the phone only vibrated instead of turning on, but after like an hour, it finally turned on. Another problem began though. I haven't used it for almost 2 years now, but I still have a screen password, PIN to be exact, which I can't remember (believe me, I've tried).
So I tried to get to recovery mode and make a hard reset (pressed home button, volume up and power button) but all that happened was that again, the phone vibrated and didn't turn on until I let go of those buttons. Tried it a couple of times, but still the same. Thanks for help.
