GioneeA1 plus download manager

[Android Central Question]

I just bought a gioneeA1 plus phone so wen I turned it on I saw download manager at the top of the screen downloading 2files but up till now it's still downloading and I don't know if it will affect the performance of my phone if I force stop it .

It could be downloading an update to the firmware, and that stopping that could brick the phone.

Let it finish and the phone should be fine. (Just watch the battery, and plug in the charger if it drops to 40%.)

Welcome to Android Central! If it just keeps going on forever, then go to Settings>Apps​, tap Menu>Show System, select Download Manager, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now see if it recurs.
