Android Central Question

Hello, I had my battery go down to 0%. After that I put it for charge but after few hours now, it won't run. Holding power/power+volume buttons doesn't work. And red light is blinking which never happened before(usually when it's low on battery red light is just on, doesn't blink), what could be the issue?

How long have you had this phone? It was released 3 years ago, so if you've had it that long and drained the battery down below 40% consistently, the battery could be dead. Do you have another battery?

"Dead" in a lithium battery, means anything under about 3.3 Volts - enough to light an LED, but not enough to power the phone (in case you were going to say "but the LED flashes"). And a couple of years of deep discharge will kill a lithium battery.
