Why can't I hear calls through car speakers on my 2011 toyota camry?

[Android Central Question]

My bluetooth for my galaxy s7 works fine in my car. It plays music, and stays connected. But I can't make or receive calls from it. If I get a call it'll mute the music but I have to use the phone to hear the call.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have the factory installed stereo system, or an aftermarket one? On the phone, go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the gear icon next to the car stereo, and make sure Phone Audio is turned on.
