Why won’t play store open on my Polaroid TV?

Play Store opens to a blank white page, then reverts to the home menu. Have restored TV to factory, have reset power - nothing in settings I can see. TV 10 months old.

Well I can't speak directly to this but in general the Play Store want to be tied to an account. You can go online and look at apps and such but to actually go into the store it seems that you have to be logged-in. Is there anyplace on your TV that allows you to log in to your Gmail account? Showing no results sounds like one of two things, you're not logged in or your device isn't supported, but if it is showing you the Play Store it seems unusual that it wouldn't prompt you to log in and allow you to look around.
