FRP LOck on Samsung S7 but not linked to google account

I have a new S7 that I logged into using my email and password, turned the phone off and when restarted I am locked out. It keeps asking for my google account info (gets past the "enter email or phone number)to the password part) but will not let me in the phone. I checked the google account security and the phone is not there so I can not take it off of google! I know the password and email are correct. Samsung says the phone is a brick.

Have you tried factory resetting from Recovery to see whether it lets you in next time round? It might not work, but it would leave you in no worse position than the one you're in now.
