when connecting t wifi network, does a pop up read captive portal login has stopped keep popping up?

Every time I try to connect to a WiFi, that I've connect to so many times, with no problem, with my new phone, I can't. A pop up reading, captive portal login has stopped, close app, keeps popping up. Or it will end with, re open app. But after closing, it won't work still and it won't re open. I've never had this problem and don't know how to fix. Can you help, please?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps​, tap Menu>Show System, select CaptivePortalLogin, tap Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now see if it happens again.
