notifications stopped for missed phone

Does anyone have an approach to correct notifications not being generated for missed phone calls besides starting in safe mode?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Are you saying that it does work correctly in Safe Mode? If that's the case, that means something you installed is interfering with the notifications. Unfortunately, you'd have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem went away.
