Case for the Maxx HD

I've used the verizon shell & holster on three different phones now. They work fine but do expose some areas in a fall. For that reason I also use a bungee lanyard and it saved my original Maxx 3 times. I now have it on my HD.

Have rocked an Incipio feather ultralight case on a few phones. I love the lines and engineering on modern phones and have never understood burying them under layers of silicone and plastic if its not needed. When I am working a detail or security job, its in a silicone sleeve and stuck inside a cordura pouch also, just because of the nature of the work but around town, at the bar or just relaxing, the Incipio is a great "barely there" case. Recently picked up a Swissgear leather holster from eBay and the phone fits inside with the Feather on it perfectly.

Got my Otterbox Commuter today. Adds bulk to an already big and heavy phone. May only use it when skiing and go naked otherwise. I am pretty easy on phones.

Okay I have left the cruiser light case, it just doesn't fit well looking for another small case doesn't look like outer box will work, it's too big, any ideas?

I have a Diztronic "smoke" TPU case coming that will be here tomorrow. Since I let my kids play games on my phone at times, I pay for the insurance, so I have a hard time justifying an Otterbox, but I'd like to at least cushion my MAXX HD a little so it can survive some minor drops. On Amazon for $11.90.

We should have pictures for all the cases to show how much bulk they add on haha. I'm not dropping $30+ for something that might add on a 3/4"

Got mine yesterday as well. I think it's a great case. It's great for protection but it does add quite a bit of bulk. I'll use it when outdoors or on the motorcycle but for daily use I'll be using my Incipio feather or go naked. It's just too bulky for me for daily use. Ultimately I'd really like to have a good bumper case, just haven't seen one yet.

I also picked up the diztronic case from Amazon in black. I like it as it adds protection without a lot of bulk. However its slippery! I'm trying to see if I can get used to it but I may end up taking it off. I feel like I could easily drop it with this case.

The inside fit and the outside finish is good.
The outside fit leaves something to be desired. The seams aren't flush with each other, but it's cheap and usable for now.

Anyone have an idea if there will ever be a bumper style protector created for the MaxxHD?

I am coming from the thickness of my thunderbolt with extended battery and the Seidio case on it. This case is great and my phone feels very secure in it. I hit the Bolt version that is almost a burnt orange and grey. I don't like orange but I really like this one...I recommend this case
