Gmail not syncing! Help

For some reason my Gmail wont sync. Why is this happening. What can I do?

Did you check you account settings for sync? Settings/accounts. It should say sync is active.

Do you have multiple google accounts.

Did you install any recent apps such as task managers, optional e-mail apps? Different contact manager?
