Android Tablet hard reset

Hi, a friend of mine blocked his android tablet and i want to do a hard factory reset by pressing Power + Vol+, but it stuck at this point

then, after ~5 min, it restarts automatically, why ?

When you see that, try pressing the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time for about a second, then releasing. That brings up the Recovery Menu in other devices like the Nexus line. Or try pressing the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons at the same time.

After that you need to keep pressed power button then volume up once quickly, then release them. Go to wipe data/factory reset and pres once power butoon.
